If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will delete their information promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at chalamar@lence.app.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via one-time passcodes, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique email password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Lence uses your .edu email domain to verify student status. We do not access your university's student records, grades, or any information beyond what you voluntarily provide in the app. Unknown .edu domains are permitted through as unverified students — Lence does not gate access based on institutional partnerships.
